Our typical strategy for dealing with stress is to cling to the hope that getting what we want will solve all our problems and make us happy. In order to feel less stress in our lives, we must first realize that getting what we want is not always the ultimate answer. Instead, we need to cultivate a type of thinking THAT ALLOWS US TO FEEL PEACEFUL whether or not we get what we want.
